Community Guidelines

These guidelines help maintain a respectful, evidence-based, and constructive environment for all members of the IQVerse community. By participating, you agree to follow these principles.

1. Respectful Communication

   Treat every member with respect, regardless of their background, beliefs, or level of expertise. Personal attacks, insults, harassment, and discriminatory language are not tolerated. Disagree with ideas, not with people.

2. Evidence-Based Discussion

   Support your claims with references, sources, or personal experience clearly marked as such. Speculation is welcome when labelled appropriately. Presenting unverified claims as established facts is not permitted.

3. Constructive Intent

   Contribute with the goal of advancing understanding. Avoid hostile rhetoric, conspiracy theories, and content designed to provoke. If you disagree with a position, explain why — constructively and with substance.

4. Privacy & Consent

   Do not share personal information about others without their explicit consent. Experience reports involving third parties must be sufficiently anonymized. Respect the privacy settings of other users.

5. No Spam or Self-Promotion

   Do not post advertisements, affiliate links, or repetitive promotional content. Genuine recommendations and resource-sharing are welcome when they serve the discussion.

6. Accurate Representation

   Do not misrepresent your qualifications, professional background, or identity. Verified experts must maintain the standards expected of their professional role.

7. Content Standards

   All content must be legal, non-violent, and appropriate for a professional research platform. Content that promotes illegal activities, contains graphic violence, or is sexually explicit will be removed.

8. Reporting & Moderation

   If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please report it. Our moderation team reviews reports promptly and fairly. Moderators may edit, hide, or remove content and issue warnings or suspensions as appropriate.

9. Worldview Neutrality

   IQVerse welcomes people of all worldviews — religious, spiritual, scientific, secular, and everything in between. No worldview is elevated above or diminished relative to any other. This neutrality is a core feature of the platform.

10. Intellectual Honesty

    Acknowledge uncertainty where it exists. If your knowledge is limited on a topic, say so. Intellectual honesty builds trust and is essential for meaningful scientific discourse.
